About Deep Intelligence Lab
Our mission, vision, research values, and the story behind one of the region’s leading AI research groups.

Founded under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Attique Khan, the Deep Intelligence Lab (DIL) conducts research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and medical imaging. We combine rigorous mathematical foundations with practical AI engineering to produce research that is both scientifically excellent and clinically relevant.
Our team of PhD researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and research assistants works on challenges ranging from automated cancer detection in dermoscopic images to federated learning systems for multi-hospital AI collaboration. We maintain active collaborations with institutions across Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, China, Turkey, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
